What’s Included in a Biomass Boiler Service
During your annual biomass boiler service, our engineers will:
- Inspect the biomass boiler and plant room for safety, ventilation and signs of wear
- Check the fuel hopper, pellet feed system and auger mechanism
- Clean the burn pot and combustion chamber to remove ash and clinker build-up
- Clean and inspect the heat exchanger to maintain heating efficiency
- Empty and inspect the ash collection system
- Check combustion fans, air intake and airflow settings
- Inspect the flue and chimney system for safe emissions discharge
- Test electrical components, sensors and safety controls
- Check circulation pumps, valves and system pressure
- Test the ignition system and fuel feed operation
- Run the boiler and monitor performance under operation
- Optimise boiler settings to improve efficiency and reliability
